Kanban view in Fusebase – Quick Guide

< 1 min read

Kanban view allows you to group table rows by different columns and display rows as cards. This is a great option for working with projects, HR, client pipelines, etc.

Creating a Kanban View #

  1. Go to the required table.
  2. Click Add view.
  3. Select Kanban from the list of views.
  4. Next, you will see the rows grouped by a specific column (by default, we group them by labels).

Selecting a column for grouping #

You can group rows by any column in the table. It can be a date column, a text column, etc. You can do this in the view settings.

Managing the display of data in a Kanban card #

Data from each column is shown in the Kanban card as a separate line. You can choose which columns to display and which to hide, and also set the order.

Moving Between Columns #

You can move cards between columns using drag and drop. Please note that when you move a card to another column, the value in the column used for grouping will also change. For example, if a card had the label “In Review,” and you move it to the “Done” column, the label will also change to “Done.”
