1 Services covered and priority
This policy applies to purchases from FuseBase, including SaaS subscriptions, software and apps, AI or usage allowances, managed hosting, custom implementation and development, and other agreed professional services.
SaaS and managed hosting are distinct service categories that may be included in one account and subscription. Purchasing a subscription does not automatically include custom development, expedited technical assistance, third-party charges or every available application.
This policy supplements the Terms and Conditions and controls conflicting general online language about billing, cancellation and refunds for the purchases it covers. An applicable signed agreement, order or statement of work and its negotiated order of precedence control conflicts for that purchase. App-store and reseller purchases are also subject to the selling channel's applicable terms. Mandatory legal rights always apply.
2 Prices and payment authorization
Your checkout, plan, order or statement of work identifies the price, currency, taxes, billing period, included resources, usage charges and any minimum commitment. Subscription fees are generally payable in advance for the stated period. Other charges follow the agreed payment schedule.
Recurring charges apply only to a subscription for which you authorized automatic renewal. The renewal period, amount or applicable pricing basis, and cancellation method must be disclosed before purchase. One-time and lifetime offers are governed by their offer terms; they are not automatically recurring subscriptions. A lifetime offer does not promise every future product or unlimited third-party services.
Additional technical services require approval of their scope and fees or charging basis before chargeable work begins. A request for help is not itself authorization to charge. We do not charge separately for work already included in your plan or required by your agreement or law.
3 Cancelling a subscription
You may stop automatic renewal by using the cancellation method made available for your purchase or, for purchases directly from FuseBase, emailing contact@thefusebase.com. Send the request before the next renewal date to prevent the next charge. We will confirm the cancellation and its effective date. A timely, identifiable direct-purchase cancellation request does not become late merely because we process it after the renewal date.
For an ordinary monthly or annual subscription cancellation, access generally continues to the end of the paid period. A request for immediate application deletion, account closure or termination under another agreement may have different effects. Cancellation does not waive amounts already properly incurred or an expressly agreed minimum commitment, subject to applicable law.
For purchases billed by an app store or reseller, use that seller's current subscription-management process. Contact us if you need help identifying the billing channel. Removing an application from a device is not a cancellation request.
4 Ordinary cancellations and unused entitlements
Except where an applicable agreement, offer or law provides otherwise, subscription payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Voluntary cancellation, reduced use, unused included capacity or changing your mind does not entitle you to a partial refund for the current paid period.
Choosing to stop or delete one hosted application included in a bundled subscription does not by itself reduce the subscription price or create a refund or credit. Any separately purchased recurring hosting or add-on charges are cancelled under the terms of that purchase. Deletion and continued billing must be addressed separately when requesting a change.
The end of a paid subscription, cancellation of one component and closure of the whole account are different events. Data export, retention and deletion follow the applicable service agreement and DPA; this policy does not promise indefinite hosting, automatic recovery after deletion or a new retention period.
5 Implementation and professional services
Custom development, setup, migration, training and other professional services are scoped in an agreed order or statement of work. It should identify deliverables, acceptance or completion criteria, fees, payment milestones, dependencies, change requests and cancellation terms. A SaaS subscription cancellation does not automatically cancel a separately commissioned project.
If you cancel a project, the applicable agreement governs amounts due for work performed, completed milestones, approved third-party commitments and any expressly agreed cancellation or reservation fees. A deposit is not automatically non-refundable merely because it is called a deposit. Prepayments will be reconciled against amounts properly payable under the agreement, with any remaining balance returned unless a lawful, expressly agreed term provides otherwise.
Requests for changes or additional work require agreement on scope and price. Product support and maintenance already included in your plan remain included. This policy does not remove remedies for failure to deliver agreed services.
6 Billing errors and service problems
Contact contact@thefusebase.com if you believe a charge is duplicated, incorrect or made after a valid cancellation. Provide your account email, transaction date, amount and relevant order or invoice reference. Do not send full card numbers, security codes or passwords. We will investigate and correct confirmed billing errors.
Report a product or service problem so that we can assess the applicable support, warranty, service-credit or other remedy. The no-refund rule for ordinary voluntary cancellation does not exclude refunds or other remedies required by an express commitment or applicable law.
If FuseBase suspends or ends a service, the grounds, consequences and remedies follow the governing agreement and law. This policy does not establish that every provider-initiated termination or permanent withdrawal is non-refundable. Any prepaid-fee treatment for such an event must be assessed under those terms; the ordinary voluntary-cancellation rule is not a substitute for that assessment.
7 Unauthorized payments and payment disputes
If you suspect a stolen card, compromised payment account or unauthorized charge, promptly contact your bank or payment provider and notify FuseBase. We can review transactions and account activity within our control and assist with the billing investigation. The bank or provider may separately determine a payment dispute under its procedures.
Nothing in this policy prevents you from reporting fraud, disputing an unauthorized payment or exercising statutory payment rights. Contacting FuseBase does not replace applicable bank or payment-provider deadlines.
8 Price changes and renewals
A subscription price change will be communicated before it applies, with the notice and any consent required by your agreement and applicable law. The notice will identify the new price, when it takes effect and how to cancel before a renewal at that price. An agreed fixed price for an already paid period is not retrospectively increased by this policy.
Errors in an offer or invoice do not authorize undisclosed additional charges. Changes to a custom project require the agreed change process. Promotional pricing and its duration follow the terms disclosed for the offer.
9 Mandatory consumer rights and refunds
Nothing here excludes a consumer's applicable withdrawal, cancellation, conformity, warranty or refund rights. Their availability depends on the jurisdiction, purchase and customer status. Business purchases do not automatically carry consumer withdrawal rights.
Where a consumer withdrawal right applies to digital content or services, starting a download, deployment or service does not by itself establish that the right has been waived. Any request for early performance, consent, acknowledgment or confirmation required by law must be handled through the relevant purchase process.
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method, subject to the selling channel and payment-provider procedures. We will communicate any required alternative. Processing and receipt times depend on that channel and applicable legal deadlines. This policy does not create a general money-back guarantee.
10 Contact and policy changes
For direct subscription cancellation, billing or refund questions, email contact@thefusebase.com. For legal questions, email legal@thefusebase.com.
Updates apply through the notice and acceptance process required by the governing agreement and law. They do not retrospectively remove an accrued refund right or change an existing signed agreement.
