A few useful details
Before you start.
Is this the same as Firecrawl Cloud?
No. This page covers a self-hosted deployment. Cloud features such as Browser, Interact and managed dashboards are not included in the default self-hosted stack.
Can it read every website?
No. Access restrictions, page design and your configuration affect results. We test your target sites; access to blocked or restricted content is not guaranteed.
Can I use the content it collects?
Use sources you are entitled to access and reuse. Website terms, copyright and privacy obligations still apply; public availability alone is not permission.
Who manages hosting and maintenance?
Your agreement defines infrastructure, resources, access, updates, backups and support. A separate installation may use shared hardware.
Are AI and other provider costs included?
Only where stated in your order. AI processing, proxies or other connected services may need separate accounts and usage charges.
Does the data stay in one place?
Firecrawl contacts the websites it reads. Connected AI, proxy or other services may also receive data. Location, retention and permissions depend on your setup.
What would you research first?
The free trial is for FuseBase. Firecrawl deployment and hosting are scoped separately.
Firecrawl is third-party software, primarily licensed under AGPL-3.0 . Applicable component licenses apply.
