Overview
What this template supports
A steering pack for a client sponsor, built from the program record the workstreams update themselves. It sets four workstreams against red, amber and green status, explains the milestone move, names the data gap instead of averaging it and lists the decisions requested with owners and dates. It includes live Dashboards blocks for workstream status and approval gates, per-workstream tabs and a six-week timeline.
- Status stats row and workstream table with red, amber and green badges
- Live workstreams by status and approval gates
- Milestone move and named data gap callouts
- Decisions requested list with owners and dates
- Per-workstream tabs
- Six-week Gantt chart
How to use this template
-
Close the status window
Collect each workstream's own update from the program record and note which updates arrived on time and which did not.
-
Set status and name the gaps
Mark each workstream green, amber or red from the evidence, record any milestone that moved, and name every data gap with its owner instead of averaging it.
-
List the decisions requested
Write each decision the sponsor or a named client owner must take, with the owner and the date, then check the open items before the final pack is sent.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when two sources disagree?
The pack keeps the disputed figures out of the totals and names the gap, with an owner and a date to reconcile it. It never averages them.
Who sets the status colors?
The workstream lead proposes the color and the program director questions it when the evidence in the update does not support it.
What does Steering pack help me do?
Build the steering pack from the program record: workstream status, the milestone move, named data gaps, decisions requested and approval gates, so steering time goes to deciding.
Who reads and maintains this page?
Client COO (sponsor) and the steering group; prepared by the program director. The client coo (sponsor) reviews it.
When is the page ready to share with the client?
Sent only after every figure matches the program record and each gap and decision has an owner and a date.
What do visitors see in the public link?
The public link opens the full page without sign-in. The live Dashboards blocks are a separate app that needs FuseBase sign-in, so a visitor without access does not see their live figures.
