How to use this template

  • Set the requirements list

Agree the facts every RFQ needs before engineering review, such as drawing revision, quantity, material, tolerance, delivery date and annual volume.

  • Check each RFQ on receipt

Tick each requirement as present or open, and name the one missing fact on the sheet.

  • Send one request per RFQ

Send the customer a single request with the missing fact and a reply date, then re-check the RFQ the day the answer arrives.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the sheet ask for the drawing revision letter?

Because a quote built on the wrong revision has to be redone. Engineering review starts only when the revision letter is on the RFQ.

Who decides whether an RFQ is a commercial fit?

The authorized engineering and commercial reviewers at the manufacturer. The sheet records the facts and the state, not the decision.

What does RFQ completeness and clarification sheet help me do?

Check each RFQ against the quoting requirements before engineering review, send one clarification request naming the missing fact, and close the RFQs that still wait.

Who reads and maintains this page?

Tarrow purchasing and the Keelson inside sales desk; prepared by inside sales on receipt of each RFQ. The commercial operations manager reviews it.

When is the page ready to share with the client?

Shared with the customer only after each waiting RFQ names its missing fact and a reply date, and the live blocks point at the customer's own data.

What do visitors see in the public link?

The public link opens the full page without sign-in. The live Dashboards blocks are a separate app that needs FuseBase sign-in, so a visitor without access does not see their live figures.
