How to use this template
-
Start the checklist at signing
Create one copy for the building the day the management agreement is signed, with the takeover date and the fifteen standard items.
-
Name an owner and a holder
For every missing item, record the Moorcroft owner, who holds the item and the date it is needed.
-
Show the owner before takeover
Send the page to the owner with the embedded view filtered to the building, and update it as items arrive.
Frequently asked questions
Are the fifteen items the same for every building?
Yes. The standard checklist stays the same, so the owner can compare buildings and nothing is forgotten.
What if the outgoing manager does not release a document?
The item stays Blocked, a callout names the consequence, and the owner or the owner's attorney requests it formally.
What does New property onboarding checklist help me do?
Take a new building under management with the same fifteen items every time, and show the owner what is missing before the takeover date.
Who reads and maintains this page?
Owner (trustee) and the director of property operations. The owner (trustee) reviews it.
When is the page ready to share with the client?
Sent only after every missing item shows an owner, a holder and a date, and the embedded view is filtered to the building and client.
What do visitors see in the public link?
The public link opens the full page without sign-in. The embedded Property operating record and owner approvals view and the live Dashboards blocks are separate items that need FuseBase sign-in and workspace access, so a visitor without access does not see their live records.
