How to use this template
-
List every account with its source document
Add each household account, its type and the custodian or provider document the packet uses, and mark it reconciled only when the document matches the record.
-
Name each open item instead of estimating it
For every account that is not reconciled, write the reason, the owner and the next step, and leave out any estimated balance.
-
Carry last review's commitments and the meeting questions
List each decision from the last review with its owner and status, then add the questions and follow-ups for the meeting before the lead adviser reviews the packet.
Frequently asked questions
What does the packet show for an account that is not reconciled?
It lists the account as open with the reason, the owner and the next step. It never shows an estimated balance.
Does the packet give investment, tax or legal advice?
