Frequently asked questions

What is the FuseBase web clipper and what does it do?

The web clipper is a browser extension that saves a page, an article or a selected part of it straight into FuseBase instead of leaving you with a pile of open tabs. What you clip arrives as a normal page you can edit, tag and file like anything else in your account. There are separate guides for each supported browser.

Which browsers is the Nimbus clipper available for?

There are clipper guides for Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari, so the three main desktop browsers are covered, and the mobile clients have their own clipper as well. The extension still carries the Nimbus name, which is the product FuseBase grew out of. Install the version that matches the browser you actually use.

Can I set a reminder on something I clip from the web?

Yes. The clipper includes reminders, so a saved page can come back to you at a time you choose instead of sitting unread. It suits a supplier page you want to revisit, a competitor announcement or an article you intend to act on next week. Reminders in the clipper have their own guide.

Can I share something I clipped with a client?

A clipped page behaves like any other FuseBase page, so once it is saved you can move it into a client portal, share it as a link, or leave it internal. That makes the clipper a quick way to gather research or examples and then pass along only the ones a client should see. You choose what crosses that line.

Can AI help with everything I save from the web?

Clips land in the same account as your AI assistants and agents, so an assistant can summarize a long article, pull out the points that matter to a project, or help file a clip where it belongs once you set that up. The assistant works inside the access you granted it. You still decide what is worth keeping and what to do next.

Can the client portal carry our brand instead of yours?

Yes. Portals are white labeled, so your client sees your logo, your colors and your domain rather than ours. What the client meets looks like part of your business, not like software you happen to use.

How do we control what a client can see?

Access is set per person and per item, not just per workspace, so a client sees the pages, files and records you shared with them and nothing beside them. Roles separate a guest, a member, a manager and a client so the same page can mean different things to different people.

What does an AI coworker do here?

You give it a company role rather than a one off prompt: defined responsibilities, the information it needs and clear rules for its work. It then carries that role through the process. Your team decides what it may access, what it may do alone and what waits for a person.

Is FuseBase a portal tool or a work tool?

Both, deliberately. Treating the client portal as a separate product from the team's own workspace is what creates the copying, the stale attachment and the version nobody trusts. FuseBase runs client collaboration and internal delivery on the same records.
