Frequently asked questions

Is there a FuseBase app for iPhone and Android?

Yes, there are mobile clients for both systems. They cover reading and editing pages, working through your task list, filtering to reach a page quickly and clipping from a phone browser. There are also home screen widgets on each platform, Shortcuts on iOS and a split mode for working in two panes on iPad.

Can I scan a paper document with my phone into FuseBase?

The mobile apps include a document scanner, so you can capture a signed form, a receipt or a printed brief and store it in your account instead of emailing it to yourself. Once it is in, the file can be attached to a page, a record or a task like any other upload. The scanner has its own guide.

How do I keep the app private on a phone other people use?

You can set a passcode on the FuseBase mobile client, so the app asks for it before opening even when the phone itself is already unlocked. That matters when you carry client information on a device a family member or a colleague occasionally picks up. Account level protection such as multi factor authentication is configured separately by your organization.

Can I keep up with client work from my phone?

Pages, tasks and files you reach on a computer are available in the mobile clients, so you can answer a question, check what a client sent or move a task along while you are away from the desk. What a client can see in their portal is still governed by the permissions your team set. The phone is another way in, not a second system.

What changes on mobile as AI takes on more of the work?

The practical shift is that the phone becomes the place you review and approve rather than the place you type everything. An agent or an automation can prepare a draft or update a record while you are out, and you read the result on your phone and decide what happens next. Your team keeps the call on what is delegated.

What does FuseBase actually do?

It gives a client facing business one place for both halves of its work: the internal workspace where the team prepares, and the branded client portal where the client reads, approves and replies. FuseBase has been building for client facing teams since 2014.

What if we do not know where to start?

Start with one process that repeats and already causes friction, usually something client facing that involves chasing, resending or re-explaining. FuseBase can help you pick it and put it into practice, under an agreed service scope.

How does internal work connect to what the client sees?

They are stages of one process rather than two systems. The team prepares in the internal workspace, publishes what the client should see into the portal, and the client's reply or approval feeds the next internal step without anyone re-entering it.

What if only part of our work is client facing?

That is the usual case. The internal side works on its own, and the client portal is added where a client actually needs to take part. FuseBase is not limited to moving information between two spaces.
